ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Thursday sought reply from parties including Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) director general (DG) and the Foreign Ministry in the Imran Farooq’s murder case.
A bench consisting of Justices Noorul Haq Qureshi and Athar Minallah heard the case on the application filed by the wife of the accused – Moazam – about the completion of trial immediately.
The applicant’s counsel informed the court that FIA failed to produce any evidence in the court adding that an application regarding to transfer the case is also delayed.
The applicant’s counsel also informed that the trial has been delayed due to the non-employment of FIA’s prosecutor. The court adjourned the hearing till indefinite time.
