Karachi: One suspect was killed, while three others were arrested in separate police encounters in different areas in Karachi early Friday morning.
The police conducted an operation near Superhighway and shot a suspect during encounter. The police also claimed to have recovered weapons from suspects’ possession. The identity of the suspect could not be ascertained as yet. The body was shifted to local hospital for medico-legal formalities.
Meanwhile, on a tip-off, the police arrested three alleged robbers in injured condition during police encounters in Sarjani Town and Gulberg area in Karachi. The identity of suspect was not disclosed as yet.
According to Police sources, the suspects were involved in several cases of street crimes.
The suspects have been shifted to relevant police stations for further investigations.
